Ingredients:
- 200g rice flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 liters fresh coconut milk
- 2 pandan leaves, tied into a knot
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence (optional)
For the Kinca Sauce:
- 500g palm sugar or Javanese sugar, finely grated
- 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 500ml water
- 1 pandan leaf, cut into pieces
Instructions:
- Mix the rice flour with 500ml of coconut milk in a bowl, stirring until dissolved.
- Heat the remaining coconut milk in a pan, adding salt, pandan leaves, and vanilla essence. Cook until hot but not boiling.
- Pour the rice flour mixture into the pan, reduce the heat, and stir continuously until the mixture thickens, boils, and becomes smooth.
- For the sauce, boil all the ingredients together until the sugar dissolves and the mixture thickens. Strain and let it cool.
