Ingredients:

  1. 200g rice flour
  2. 1/2 teaspoon salt
  3. 2 liters fresh coconut milk
  4. 2 pandan leaves, tied into a knot
  5. 1 teaspoon vanilla essence (optional)

For the Kinca Sauce:
  1. 500g palm sugar or Javanese sugar, finely grated
  2. 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  3. 500ml water
  4. 1 pandan leaf, cut into pieces

Instructions:
  1. Mix the rice flour with 500ml of coconut milk in a bowl, stirring until dissolved.
  2. Heat the remaining coconut milk in a pan, adding salt, pandan leaves, and vanilla essence. Cook until hot but not boiling.
  3. Pour the rice flour mixture into the pan, reduce the heat, and stir continuously until the mixture thickens, boils, and becomes smooth.
  4. For the sauce, boil all the ingredients together until the sugar dissolves and the mixture thickens. Strain and let it cool.
  5. Serve the Bubur Sumsum with the kinca sauce poured over it.
  6. Enjoy your delicious Bubur Sumsum
